"If you're afraid of Innovation, you're probably afraid of Growth.
If you're afraid of Growth, you're probably afraid of Change.
If you're afraid of Change, you're probably afraid of Creativity.
If you're afraid of Creativity, you're probably afraid of Passion.
If you're afraid of Passion, you're probably afraid of Love.
But without Love, you can never hope to achieve meaningful, lasting success.

When asked, many people would say that their greatest fear is Failure. However -- When you really look deep down at the common fear people have, it seems to be more connected to Success then failure.
After all -- Can you ever really fail if you've never been successful? How will you ever know if you are successful if you have not failed? These two things: Failure and Success are in-fact two sides to the same coin.
People might say - "Are you kidding me? Who wouldn't want to be successful? After all -- Being successful means, fame and riches."
Well... not everyone's definition of success is the same. To some people, success could simply mean bringing food home for the family, or bringing a paycheck home to the spouse.
When talking about Success we are often talking about the Ultimate Success. What would be your single greatest accomplishment in life? What is the one thing, above all others, you would be proud to have succeeded in? If you could live your perfect life, your worthy ideal, what would that be?
People are often mistaken by Success. They imagine success as a fleeting thing. Lightning in a bottle so to speak. I'm convinced that if we were not all so afraid of Success and Failure, more of us would achieve our greatest dreams. Ultimate Success is in-fact the byproduct of having lived a worthwhile life.
What is Ultimate Success?
Doing what you love to do (Passion & Purpose)
while living your most desirable lifestyle.
while living your most desirable lifestyle.
Wrap your head around this concept and you will have already succeeded. >>
-- You can not have your Ultimate Success if you are not succeeding on a daily basis.
Ok... time to demystify and de-glorify success. Stop thinking of success as an extraordinary accomplishment. You don't have to accomplish the impossible in order to be successful. As long as you are growing and achieving something beyond your current capabilities, you are successful. Not even that is required in order to be successful. If you've done something in your day that you are proud to report to the milkman, you will have been successful.
Remember: If you can consider yourself "successful" on a daily basis, you are on the track to achieving your Ultimate Success.
Your Ultimate Success is more of an Ultimate Goal. An Ultimate Goal is what you are shooting to achieve. It is more of an end result -- A Brass ring so to speak. You can't expect to reach the brass ring in one try. You only reach the brass ring after having failed an infinite number of times.
"Let me fail gracefully in the direction of my greatest achievement, my ultimate success." - Chris Earl
Change your relationship to Failure. Think of it more as something to be celebrated. After all... the more failures you have, the closer you are to that "Big" Success.
Failure itself is an accomplishment. It is an action. Failure is telling you what isn't quite working out. If you fail... recalibrate... and try again. Having done nothing is the real failure.
The real key to Ultimate Success and Happiness... to enjoy the beauty of the Journey while you're getting to where you're going.
